Lúnasa is an ancient gaelic, pre-christian summer festival to celebrate the 1st summer harvest. It was celebrated with athletic competition, horse racing and other good summer fun. It was a time to rejoice in the light and the 1/2 way point between the Solstice and the Equinox. A reminder to live in the moment, because the seasons change, and soon it will be autumn.

For our celebration we will toast to the summer with our selection of Curous Elixirs; and I invite you to bring something from your harvest to share with the group! We will have a meditation to usher inthe golden light of summer into our bodies and use the shining skull breath (or shining crown) pranayama practice to invoke the light even more within our body and spirit.

Swan will play a multi-instrument soundbath to sweep us away in a waking dream to the summer land in your hearts.

Please bring pillows, and blankets and an eye mask as we may run out.
