This class begins with a pranayama or breath work practice of Flowering and Rooting breath to center ourselves. The herbal tea will be brewing while we pranayama, and when it's ready we will infuse the tea with our heartfelt gratitude and let it steep. We will then chant Arigato, Japanese for thank you, with the accompanying sound of Himalayan medicine bowls. We will share our tea and relax with a soundbath to cap off the experience.
A consistent gratitude practice has the power to shift our mood and brain states, perhaps this session will help you to create a gratitude practice of your own.
Please bring a canned food item to share for donation.
